No. You’re not crazy. And we appreciate your patience and understanding thus far. As some of you may have noticed, the CAN-AM Karting Schedule has undergone two final edits for the year. We apologize for the confusion throughout the season and any miscommunication that arose from the possibility of ownership change. With 100% certainty, the following schedule edits will be the last small revisions for the season:
- The 4th round of the CAN-AM Karting Championship previously scheduled for September 28-30 will be removed from the schedule. Reason being, the final event conflicts with a very popular street race in California. In consideration of our racers who look forward to that event every year, we feel it’s only fair to not put them in a position to choose one over the other.
- Secondly, the Pat’s Acres round was originally scheduled for September 14-16. We had proposed a move in dates to September 7-9. However, the consensus and feedback from all parties is that the later date worked better for more racers. We will honor the original date published in early schedules and scrap the proposed change.
- Furthermore, it has come to our attention that the IKF Grand Nationals are being rescheduled to September 7-9, so reverting back to the original dates for Pat’s Acres frees up any conflict for those wishing to race for a Duffy.
Again, we can’t thank our racers enough for their patience as we’ve ironed out the final wrinkles in our schedule. Have questions? We’re here to answer.
